Return and Refund Policy
At Steep, we stand behind every can. If you're not satisfied with your order, we want to make it right.
Damaged or Defective Products If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of delivery at summit@drinksteep.ca with your order number and a photo of the issue. We'll send a replacement or issue a full refund — no need to return the product.
General Returns Due to the perishable nature of food and beverage products, we are unable to accept returns on opened or consumed products. Unopened cases may be returned within 14 days of delivery if the product is in its original, undamaged condition. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error.
Subscription Orders Subscription orders can be modified or cancelled before the next billing date. If a subscription order has already shipped, it is not eligible for cancellation but may qualify for a refund if damaged upon arrival.
ShipInsure Package Protection At checkout, you have the option to add ShipInsure Package Protection to your order. We strongly recommend it for peace of mind on every shipment.
If you purchased ShipInsure protection: You are covered for lost, stolen, or damaged packages and can file a claim directly through ShipInsure. Claims are typically resolved within 24–48 hours. To file a claim, visit claims.shipinsure.com and have your order number and email address ready. You do not need to contact Steep first — ShipInsure handles the resolution directly.
Coverage includes:
- Packages marked as delivered but not received
- Packages lost in transit
- Items damaged upon arrival (photo required)
If you did not purchase ShipInsure protection: Steep is not liable for packages lost, stolen, or damaged in transit. We will do our best to assist you in working with the carrier, but we cannot guarantee replacements or refunds for unprotected shipments outside of cases where the error was ours (wrong item sent, etc.).
Refund Processing Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days and returned to the original payment method. You'll receive an email confirmation once your refund has been issued.
